These petite sterling silver clip earrings were made in Siam in the 1940s.
The paisley shapes are etched with the traditional Siam dancer motifs. This petite design clips around the curve of your ear and each earring is just 7/8" long. I like the Siam earrings that were made in Paisley shapes as opposed to round or oval buttons, because the design is not clunky and the earrings are light weight and easy to wear. The paisley shapes are a little harder to find.
Both earrings are in excellent condition with no scratches or signs of age or wear on the faces and edges. The earrings appear to have never been worn. The clips are sterling silver as well, and both clips are clean, strong, and have tight snap. The earring are not signed. The backs of the earrings have some tiny light scratches, just where the clips touch the silver.
