This is a very unique heart brooch from the 1970s!
This large convex heart pin is a rare paisley design. It is a thick well cast design with double borders in both rope and a beaded frames.
The large cabs are enameled metal in black, red, and blue.
The surface of the pin is pierced with small elliptical holes that have a raised borders.
The pin is a nice weighty piece made of cast silver metal. It is not pot metal, but a thick cast of silver nickel and chrome metal.
The pin is not signed and it is not a Sarah Coventry design but it might have been made by Emmons or Celebrity.
The heart is a large palm full at 2" tall x 1 7/8" wide or 5.3 cm x 4.8 cm.
The entire pin is in perfect bright and clean condition with no loss of enamel and only microscopic specks of wear on the red and black cabs.
The silver metal is perfect both front and back with no signs of wear or damage. the back has the original fine working safety clasp.
