This striking and very unique necklace and earring parure is a modern design made of teak and bamboo.
The parure is a vintage set that was made in the 1980s, most likely in Costa Rica.
The large earrings exhibit exceptional wood inlay and measure 2" wide point to point.
The edges are beveled smooth and the earrings were made for pierced ears.
When worn, the earrings are more of a diamond shape as one corner or point is in front of the pierced ear stud.
The necklace has 5 different types of hand carved wood beads. The triangle drops are teak and measure 1 1/2" to 1 3/4" long.
The two rectangular beads, oval and laminated in teak and bamboo, measure 1 1/2" long x 1" wide. The necklace is 26" long overall.
The entire parure is in pristine clean like new condition. The large wood beads and the earrings have a satin wax finish that is flawless.
The wood is flawless with no scratches, scuffs, or chips.
Comes gift wrapped and shipped in a new presentation jewelry box.
