Over the past 40 years, this is a particular style of antique candlesticks I have collected. These molded cast metal pair was made in France during the Art Nouveau period, or late 19th century. There's no other style of candlesticks that an adorn a table or mantle like the style of these. 

The candlesticks have unique architectural design along with Fleur de Lis styling of swags and flowers. They are finished in their original dark gold paint. This style is very uncommon to find.

Medium in size, the candlesticks are 5 1/4" tall x 3" wide at the base. Of course, the gold has some light wear but most candlesticks like these have no gold left at all. The most important condition aspects is that there no cracks, dings, damage, or repairs. Both candlesticks are perfectly straight. ( Any distortion in the photos is an optical illusion.) Overall, the gold is in excellent condition for age.
