Made by Westmoreland Glass Co, this vanity powder box is a hoop skirted lady in clear glass. The lidded box was originally made as a powder box but can also be used for small jewelry or cosmetic items.

The bottom of the box is signed W for Westmoreland, a mark that was used between 1949 and 1984. This is original old Westmoreland glass and not a reproduction. 

I believe it was made in the 1950s or earlier. How do I know? It was on my grandmother's dresser since I was a child in the mid 1960s. I inherited it and have kept it safely stashed away and not used in my special collectibles since the early 1970s. You can tell that the mold work is an earlier style. 

The box is medium in size at 5" tall x 3 3/4" wide or 13 cm x 9.5 cm. 

The entire box is in sparkling clean and in excellent well cared for condition. There are no scratches, scuffs, chips, or cracks.
