What I admire the most about this vintage 1960s Cloisonne vase is not just the motif, but the light Oriental green background color. It is one color in vintage Cloisonne wares that is very different from the typical black, white, or blue backgrounds, and a pleasing color that is a little harder to find than others.

The motif also has the highly desirable cloud wirework inlay as well as large plum blossoms and a bird in flight. The mix of earthy colors creates a very nice feminine palette.

The vase is made of highly polished gold-plated brass. The vase is medium large in size at 8 1/4" tall x 4" wide at the widest point.

The entire vase is in pristine clean like new condition with no imperfections or signs of wear. There are no chips, scratches, dents, cracks, or repairs. The gold-plated brass on the interior has some light wear from use as a flower vase. The vase was made in China but is not signed.
