Antique Art Deco Czech Pin Architectural Citrine Glass
If you want an heirloom brooch to love for a lifetime, this European Art Deco brooch is a gorgeous rare find.
The brooch is not signed but it was undoubtedly made in Czechoslovakia in the 1910-1920 era. The diamond shaped and domed glass is rare to find. It is called simply Citrine glass today but it is actually a type of luminescent Givre' glass in tangerine and lemon yellow.
This type of glass appears electrified as if it has a light source of its own. Also very unique about the glass is the Art Deco architectural carvings of the star and diamonds. The matching architectural setting is made of brass and the glass cab is prong set. The back has the original antique C clasp.
Medium in size, the brooch is 2" long x 1" tall or 53 mm x 27 mm. The entire brooch is in pristine clean condition with no imperfections or flaws. The glass cab is flawless with no scratches, chips, or cracks. The brass has an antique patina.
Comes gift wrapped and shipped in a new presentation brooch box.
