Art Deco Rhinestone Stick Pin 1930s Jewelry
It would be easy to call this Art Deco Rhinestone stick pin a mushroom, but it is not.
The inspiration of this piece came from the solar system, as reflected in many orbital Art Deco designs in architecture, jewelry, and more during the Streamline Moderne Period.
This stick pin is made of light grey pot metal and the head, stem, and lower screw on end piece are paved with clear rhinestone chatons. The stick pin measures 3" long x 3/4" wide and is not signed. The screw on mechanism is in fine working order an the pin is nice and straight. The pot metal is in fine condition with no signs of abuse or wear. The rhinestones are all present and original. A few of the stones have a very light yellow tint but overall, the majority are crystal clear.
If you like really unusual stick pins, this Art Deco orbital design is a very unique piece !
