Vintage Black Glass Necklace Triple Rhinestone Choker 1950s Jewelry
From the 1950s, this black glass choker necklace with rhinestone rhondells is much more impressive than meets the eye.
What I admire most about this three strand beauty is the size of the black glass beads. They are dainty and petite at just 6 mm long. All of the round black glass beads have gleaming strong facets which creates tremendous sparkle. With the addition of 12 clear rhinestone rhondells, this choker is elegant and luminous.
The strands are finished with silver rhodium components and the necklace has the original matching black glass extension chain. The entire necklace is in pristine microscopically clean condition.
All of the bead are perfect with no loss of glossy shine, no scratches, chips, or cracks. All of the rhinestones are original, present, and sparkling. The beads are strung on triple strength cord that is strong and tight.
There is no silver wear on the rhodium components. The only sign of age is on the extension chain, where the brass metal wire has darkened from age.
The decorative portion of the necklace is 11" long x 5/8" wide, or 27.5 cm x 1.6 cm. With the extension chain, it can be hooked up to 14 1/2" long or 36 cm. If the necklace is not long enough for you, you can have a custom extension chains made by checking the box below.
Adding 2" or 5 cm of silver metal chain between the necklace and the hook would make the necklace up to 16 1/2" or 41 cm long.
