CORO Signed Sterling Gold Fruit Salad Flower Brooch 1950s Jewelry
This spectacular Coro Sterling Brooch is an old floral bouquet motif with a gold vermeil finish.
This large flower and ribbon design features wide looped ribbons and pear cut crystals in Amethyst, Golden Citrine, Sapphire, and clear. This brooch has two Coro hallmarks as shown in the photos below. The brooch was made in the mid to late 1950s.
Large in size, the brooch is 3 3/8" or 85 mm long x 2 1/2" or 60 mm wide. You can get a better indication of the size by viewing the photo of the brooch in my hand.
This brooch is in pristine clean condition and overall, exceptional condition for age. All of the crystals are original, present, and prong set. The gold vermeil has light signs of gentle wear. Compared to other old Coro sterling gold vermeil brooches that were made like this one, it is one of the best I've ever seen as far as condition is concerned. The back has the original fine working safety clasp. The brooch is signed with the Coro Pegasus Sterling cartouche and on the bow it is also signed Coro Sterling.
Comes gift wrapped and shipped in a new luxury presentation brooch box.
