Vintage Crystal Earrings Regal Steel Blue Finial Clips 1950s Jewelry
You would think that these sophisticated regal earrings would be a 1950s vintage design that would be easy to find, but this style of earring is almost impossible to find today.
These silver rhodium clip earrings are a Fleur de Lis design that feature large emerald cut crystals in aqua steel blue. Around the bottom of the large crystals are Smokey grey crystals; one square cut and four large chatons. All of the crystals and rhinestones are prong set.
Unsigned, the earrings are medium in size at 1 1/4" tall x 7/8" wide, or 3.1 cm x 2.3 cm. The large aqua steel blue crystals are 18 mm x 13 mm. The large crystals are open backs, finished with gold on the backs.
Both earrings are in pristine clean condition and have never been worn. The crystals and rhinestones are perfect to the naked eye with no scratches, chips, or loss of clarity. The rhodium is clean bright everywhere with no signs of wear. The clips are like new as well and are strong with tight snap. * If you inspect the large crystals with a loupe, some microscopic hints of wear can be detected such as a couple of tiny pin pricks on one and a tiny light surface scuff on the other; both are hardly worth noting.
