Gold Eagle Cufflinks Patriotic Kennedy Era 1960s Jewelry
Made in the early 1960s, these glistening gold plated vintage cufflinks are large Eagles with small inset pastel Aurora Borealis Austrian rhinestones on the wings.
Over the course of the past 100+ years, not many eagle cufflinks designs were ever made. It wasn’t until the Kennedy years that this patriotic symbol came to light in mens cufflink designs, and then they were only made for a couple of years.
Perfect for the American patriot, these formal eagles exemplify fine quality and craftsmanship. They are not signed, except for a patent number, so I can tell you who made them. They were made by Avedon and the patent was first applied for in 1956.
Large in size, the eagles are 1 1/8" or 30 mm tall.
The pair is in exceptional pristine clean like new condition with no imperfections or flaws. The gold is clean and bright with no wear and looks like new. All of the rhinestone are original, present, and super sparkling.
Comes gift wrapped an shipped in a new luxury presentation cufflink box as pictured.
