Gold Sea Shell Pearl Dangle Earrings 1960s Vintage Jewelry
These pearl dangle earrings are a unique style from the late 1950s or early 1960s. The earrings have scalloped sea shells at the top and four short dangles with lustrous white pearls and gold stamped metal medallions.
The earrings are clips and the scallops are arched and ribbed. The gold finish on the shells is a satin gold gilt. In my photos, it might look like the gold is worn, but this is just shadows created by the ribbed arch at the top center of the shell. The gold is not a bright glitzy gold but rather and antiqued aged gold.
>The dangling pearls are 6mm and the earrings measure 7/8" wide x 2 1/2" long overall. The earrings are not signed but they are very unique. Both earrings are very clean and the pearls are perfect as well. The clips are strong with tight snap.
