HOBE Signed Modernist Gold Tassel Necklace 1950s Jewelry
Made in the 1950s, this unique slider tassel necklace is designer signed Hobe'. The design can also be called a Bolo necklace.
The long snake chain is yellow gold plated and the round, domed slider is a Ying-Yang design, half made of jade green glass and the bottom is a wave design in yellow gold metal. At the ends of the chain are tear drop jade glass tassel beads. The necklace is finished with a custom Hobe' fold over box clasp; a beautiful satin gold rope finding in perfect working order.
The chain or necklace is about 30" or 76 cm long overall. The 1" or 26 mm round slider can be adjusted anywhere along the chain.
The entire necklace is in pristine clean like new condition with no imperfections or flaws. The gold chain is flawless with no signs of wear or loss of gold. The green glass parts are perfect as well with no scratches, chips, or cracks. The necklace is in very superb overall condition. The necklace has the original Hobe' gold metal hang tag.
