KARU ARKE Signed Lavender Pearl Necklace w Earrings 1950s Jewelry
This 1950's necklace and earring set is made in luscious lavender and pearl colors.
The earrings are signed Karu Arke, but the necklace is not signed. The necklace is three strands of glass beads with faux pearls. The largest round beads are lavender frosted glass. The elliptical and irregular molded beads are glass; white with lavender swirls.
There are matching small round white and lavender glass swirl beads along the strands as well. The faux pearls are oval and round. The oval pearls have a silver satin finish, and the round ones are white. Each and every bead is separated with silver flashed glass tube beads.
The strands range from 15" to 18" and overall the necklace can be 20" long with the chain extenders.
The necklace is in excellent and clean condition with the exception of some flaking to a few of the smallest faux pearls. ( Some of the glass beads that were once faux pearls are now clear glass.) The silver metal components have no wear.
The earrings are Lucite and plastic beads with faux pearls and have very nice gold metal filigree backs. The earrings are in like new condition with no wear and good strong clips. The earrings are 1 1/8" wide.
