Pearl Earrings Gold Hearts Signed DAUPLAISE
These very unique gold heart pearl earrings are signed Dauplaise and were made in the 1980s. Carol Dauplaise worked for Miriam Haskell from 1959 to 1978 and in the 1980s, she started her own line of jewelry. Many of the earrings she made are not my favorite styles and finding really nice Dauplaise designs like these earrings is not an easy task.
The polished gold metal wave like hearts are a neat 1980s Retro design. The oval Mabe pearls have a light golden champagne finish. The earrings are not super large or heavy to wear. They are medium in size at 1 1/4" tall x 1" wide.
The earrings are clips but they are the slender lever back style with pressure sensitive screw backs that are comfortable to wear. Both earrings are in pristine clean condition with no wear or imperfections. Both are signed Dauplaise.
Comes gift wrapped and shipped in a new presentation earring box.
