RARE Paisley Drop Siam Sterling Silver 1950s Vintage Earrings
Very unique pair of Siam Sterling Niello Clip Earrings ~
These paisley tear drop shapes fit perfectly to the curve of your ear. This very uncommon shape is charming and elegant. It is a very old style not commonly seen that dates from the 1930s.
Adorned with bright sterling silver dancers, hand wrought sterling frames and polished backs, the background is a very dark grey to black neillo, which is very desirable in old Siam jewelry. ( Some later Siam is lighter grey and the Neillo quality is not as good.)
The earrings are in pristine, mint condition and have sterling ear clips with tight snap. Both earrings are signed Siam Silver. The earrings are nice and clean and the backs have only been lightly cleaned, retaining the original patina. They measure 1 1/4" long x 3/4" wide ~
