Signed NAPIER Pearl Gold Flower Brooch w Earrings Parure 1950s Jewelry
Made in the 1950s, this pearl and gold flower brooch with clip earring parure is signed Napier. This is a very uncommon Napier set and the thick yellow gold plating is high quality Napier. What I admire most about this set are the "pine cone" layered flower petals that gleam around the big dome pearl.
The pearls are glass pearls and with the addition of all the gold pine cone petals, the brooch is weighty for 1950s Napier. Rest assured, when you see this set in person, you will think the setting are real gold or gold filled : the quality is that nice. Also, look at the back of the clip earrings and you can see the very unique style of clips Napier used on their premier designs.
Medium large in size, the brooch is 3 1/4" long x 1 1/2" wide or 83 mm x 38 mm. The largest flower at the top of the brooch is 1 " or 25 mm wide. The clip earrings are 3/4 " or mm wide. You can get a better indication of the size of the brooch by viewing the photo of the brooch in my hand.
This set is in pristine like new mint condition and has obviously never been worn. The entire set is flawless; there is not even a speck of lint and all pieces are microscopically clean and bright with no wear. The pearls are perfect as well with no scratches or scuffs. All pieces are signed ©Napier. The earring clips and the brooch safety clasp are all in perfect working order.
