Flower Earrings Pastel Glass 1950s Signed TRIFARI Jewelry
Signed Crown Trifari, these very unusual pastel glass flower earrings were made in the 1950s. In my 40 years of collecting glass bead jewelry, I have never seen glass beads like these. Trifari imported glass beads for some of their jewelry from Gripoix, France and I believe these very unique beads are Gripoix glass.
The glass is very soft looking as the beads are translucent in colors of light pink, light blue, light green, and light yellow. The glass beads sparkle as there are tiny crushed pieces of what appears to be abalone shell or mica inside the glass.
The earrings are clips and they are the slender lever style that are comfortable to wear. The beads are attached with flat head brass pins and the earrings are made of gold plated metal. The center bead is 10 mm and the surrounding beads are 8 mm. The earrings are 1" wide or cm overall.
Both earrings are in microscopically clean condition with no imperfections or signs of wear. The gold metal is perfect and the clips are not worn and in perfect working order. Both earrings are signed Crown Trifari.
