Tropical Blue Choker Necklace Diamond Facets 1970s Jewelry
There are two types of old beads that are hard to come by that I love to collect. One type of bead, known as pop beads, were popular in the 1950s and 60s. The other type is called diamond faceted wheel beads, which is what this early 1970s three strand choker necklace is made of.
In the prettiest tropical colors of light blue, medium blue, and turquoise, these wheel beads have small diamond etched facets all around the outside. These facets are machine polished to a bright shiny finish. The three strands are strung on stiff brass wire and the original finish beads on the ends are in place.
The choker is 13" long overall by 1" wide. My neck is 15" and the choker is a little to small for me. It is best suited for necks that measure 14" or less.
This unique 1970s piece is in pristine condition with only minor signs of wear or age. All of the beads are exceptionally clean and the brass wire is clean as well.
