Made in the early 1950s, these are a very unusual pair of earrings made by Lisner.
For a few short years in the 1950s, Lisner tried to follow the Mid Century Modern earring fashions of Monet and Coro that dominated the market. You just don't see many earrings like these that are signed Lisner. They are signed Lisner, without copyright, or pre-1955.
These clip earrings are chromium plated buttons with filigree ribbon frames. They are a high polish mirror design but the chrome has a grey tint.
Medium large in size, the buttons are 1 1/16" or 28 mm wide. The earrings are in pristine clean condition with no imperfections or flaws. The high polish on the buttons has some light wear; some swirl marks from polishing. The clips are like new and in perfect working order.
Comes gift wrapped and shipped in a new earrings presentation box.
