It is very hard to date this box with no signature however based on the style it was most likely made in the 1930-1940 era. I've had it tucked away in my collection for over 4 decades.

The box is not signed but it was most likely made in Italy. The round body of the porcelain resembles a sea urchin with the beaded texture. It is glazed in white all over. The lid has large Majolica flowers and leaves in yellow, deep pink, coral, yellow, and green.

This box has never been used and is in pristine clean like new very well cared for condition.

Medium in size, the box is 4 " tall x 4 1/8" wide or 102 mm x 110 mm. You can get a better indication of the size by viewing the photo of the box in my hand.

The box is microscopically clean and there are no chips, cracks, scratches, or repairs. The interior is perfectly clean as well. Some of the leaf tip looks like the green paint is worn but it is just how the leaves were painted.
