Antique Bisque Porcelain German Bag Pipe Boy Figurine Vase #15310

US$95.00
Item number: 15310

I have a small collection of antique German bisque porcelain figurine vases I've decided, rather unwillingly, to part with.

I bought all of them from a lady who owned and antique shop, who was going out of business on the Eastern Shore if MD back in the early 1980s.

All of these pieces are antique bisque porcelain that were made in the 1880's.

This boy with bagpipes and tree trunk vase is signed with the mold number 1159. I believe they are older Unger, Schneider, and Cie designs. The vase is made of chalk white bisque porcelain. The figurine is accented in sea green and silver grey painted accents.

Medium large is size, the vase is 6" tall x 3 1/4" wide or 15 cm x 8.3 cm. The entire vase is in perfect condition with no scratches, scuffs, chips, or cracks. There are not even any flea bites anywhere on this piece. The paint is not worn and areas that look worn is the manner in which the vase was painted. I have two of these vases and they are both identical in description and condition.
