These luminous antique earrings are very rare.

The earrings are twisted beads of mouth blown Opalescent French pink glass. The glass has gorgeous opalescence and appears to light up from within. This glowing pink glass is very rare and it is called French pink because if the color.

The earrings were made in France or the Bohemia region and date from the 1920-1930 era. The earrings are brass screwbacks and the ear posts are adorned with fine quality glass Mabe pearls.

 

Overall, the earrings hang down 1 3/8" or mm long. The pink twist beads are about 3/4" long x 3/8" wide, or 20 mm x 12 mm, and top and bottom of the beads have the original old brass bell flower caps. Unsigned, the earrings are in excellent pristine clean condition. The glass beads and the pearls are perfect with no scratches or chips. The brass findings have an aged patina but the findings are clean with no verdigris or dirt.
