This Limited Edition Franklin Mint blue bird plate was hand painted by a Japanese artist Wei Tseng Yang in 1981. The date is on the back of the plate and the rest of the writing is in Japanese.
The beautiful scene is a pair of blue birds, snow on trees and mountains, and white and light green cherry blossoms. The rim of the plate is trimmed in 24kt gold.
The plate is 7 1/2" or 19 cm wide. It has been stored away and never used and the entire plate is in pristine clean like new condition with no imperfections or flaws.
