1950s EO Brody Glass Pair Pastel Flashed Frosted Glass Vases #16475
Made in the 1950s, these very unique flashed pastel glass vases are a pair that have been loved and admired for many decades in my glass curio cabinet.
The vases are tall and slender and made of frosted clear glass. The glass is quilted on the exterior and flashed in pastel colors. The colors are not in the glass but flashing is an old method of applying a thin film of paint to glass.
Both vases are signed EO Brody and in the late 1950s, when you went to a florist, these are vases you could get with a flower order. White, pink, or yellow roses were stunning in these vases.
Both vases are 8" tall x 2 7/8" wide at the base. Both vases are in great condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. They are both very clean and only the flashing has some spots of wear from handling. The price is for the pair.
