1950s Japanese Porcelain Jar Set Artist Signed #15326

US$45.00
Item number: 15326

Made in the 1950s, this pair of Japanese hand painted lidded jars are fine quality porcelain china. Both bowls are signed in gold Japanese letters (see photo).

The bowls are glazed in light Oriental green with gold trimmed flowers in bright red, yellow, pink, white, and black. The larger squatted round jar has a finial on the lid and the smaller jar has a loop finial. The jars were probably original made as tea caddies but are perfect for vanity items such as jewelry or other odds and ends.

The large jar is 5" wide x 3 1/4" tall and the smaller jar is 4" wide x 2 3/4" tall. Both jars and their lids are in pristine clean like new perfect condition with no imperfections or flaws. The high gloss glazes and paints are flawless with no scratches or scuffs. Their are no chips or cracks; and no flea bite chips on the rims or lids.
