1950s Vintage Pearl Necklace Gold w Crystals 3 Strands #13048

US$395.00
Item number: 13048

This vintage 1950s pearl necklace is a lovely mix of glass cultured pearls, Austrian bicone crystals, and antiqued rolled gold metal rib beads.

This is not a necklace that was made in Hong Kong or Japan. It is not signed, but it was made by a US jewelry designer as indicated by the unique silver plated Fleur de Lis necklace findings. It was most likely made by Robert DeMario or Leru.

The 8mm glass cultured pearls are exceptional quality with A+ luster. The middle strand has five 9mm long faceted bicones crystals and the top and bottom strands each have 4 crystals. The rolled gold metal rib beads have are antique rose gold.

The necklace has the original pearl extension chain and can be hooked anywhere between 15" and 17 3/4" long.

The entire necklace is in excellent clean condition with no signs of wear. All of the pearls and crystals are perfect and the gold beads are not worn. A few of the pearls, near the ends of the strands do have a champagne tint as they have lightly foxed from age.It is obvious that this necklace has rarely, if ever, been worn and that it has been very well cared for.

This necklace is a premier vintage pearl design and it is a style that is not easy to find!

Comes gift wrapped and shipped in a new presentation jewelry box.

Note: The old cords that were used on this necklace were in danger of breaking. I have taken the time to restring all 3 strands on Acculon, which is very strong plastic coated wire so the strands are now perfectly strong and secure.
