1950s Vintage Jewelry Unique Milk Glass Flower Brooch #12552

US$85.00
Item number: 12552

This is a very uncommon to find 1950s milkg glass brooch. Just one look, and you can see the amazing French glass beads. It looks very much like brooches that were made by Miriam Haskell.

The tight flower cluster is domed and there are 4 different types of beads. There are two types of flowers, bone beads, and a large bicone at the center. The beads are pure bright white with brilliant fire polished finishes.

This brooch was meticulously hand made as all of the beads are wired to a button hole style back with individual black metal pins.
These head pins create a small black dot at the center of each bead, creating an overall polka dot effect.

Looking at the back you can see the brushed gold metal finding with the original fine working safety clasp. The brooch is not signed.

The brooch is 1 3/4" wide and all of the beads are in perfect condition. There are no missing or loss beads and all are clean and bright. Even down in the nooks and crannies, there is no dirt of grime. The gold metal findings are clean with no wear as well.

French beads, most certainly, yet it was most likely designer made in the USA.
