1950s Vintage Jewelry Russian Hand Painted Flower Brooch #14579

This exquisite Russian hand painted on wood brooch is a romantic vintage design that was made in the 1950-1960 era.

The brooch is perfectly round and slightly domed and the perimeter is trimmed with regal red swirled enamels. The floral composition is a dramatic bouquet in an array of majestic colors on a black background. Also notice the Rococo gold painted scrolled frame around the flowers.

The brooch is a nice large design at 2" or 5 cm wide. The enamels are glossy and perfect with no scratches, chips, scuffs, or fading. The glossy clear coat is perfect as well. The back has the original safety pin style closure and the brooch is artist signed, however the signature is difficult to read.
