Delizza Elster Juliana Bracelet French Blue Givre Glass 1950s Jewelry #15478
Juliana Givre' glass bracelets are also VERY uncommon to find!
Made by Delizza and Elster in the 1950s, this French Blue Givre' glass bracelet is a design that can be worn every day or on special occasions. You cant say that about all D&E bracelets. Some are just too fancy to wear every day but theses blues blend nicely with jeans and fancy blouses.
The bracelet is made of quality silver rhodium metal and the "perched" cab settings feature big faceted blue, white, and clear Givre Glass chatons; all prong set. A sprinkling of sugar textured light blue satin pearls creates glistening movement.
Of course the bracelet is not signed but the links on the backs speak D&E loud and clear. You can call this blue cornflower blue but in the vintage jewelry world, it is called Gripoix Givre Glass as these glass cabs were made in Gripoix, France.
The bracelet is 7 1/4" long x 1" wide or 184 mm x 23 mm. The original fold over box clasp is in perfect working order. The bracelet is in spectacular well-preserved condition and I doubt it has ever been worn.
It is microscopically clean and bright all around and all of the glass cabs and are present. The glass cabs are perfect with no scratches, scuffs, chips, or cracks. The pearls show no signs of wear and the silver rhodium shows no signs of wear; not even on the clasp.
Please note that three of the pearl clusters have 2 pearls, and two of the clusters have 3 pearls. There are no missing any pearls. This is the scattered alternating style of how this bracelet was made.
Comes shipped in a new luxury presentation bracelet box.
