Hawaiian Flower Pierced Earrings Carved Bone 1960s Vintage Jewelry #15151

US$95.00
Item number: 15151

Hand Carved in Hawaii in the 1960s these earrings were made for pierced ears and are carved bone in bright ivory white.

The earrings are not cow bone or elephant bone. I know what they are if you care to ask. A resonance ping test also dictates what type of bone they are. Some cow bone can be this color if bleached bright white, but it will not have the same resonance pitch as this bone.

The flower design looks like that of thunbergia fragrans, or the White Lady flower. The earrings are large, about the size of a US silver dollar, or 1 3/8" or 35 mm wide.

Both earrings are in spectacular pristine microscopically clean condition with no imperfections or flaws.

New ear studs have been added for you (not in photos).Comes gift wrapped and shipped in a new presentation jewelry box.
