Made in the 1950-1960 era, these Mother of Pearl earrings are an exceptional modern design. The earrings are round hand carved swirled pinwheel flowers. The Mother of Pearl has exceptional luster and reflects rainbow hues of light.

One other very fine aspect is the thickness of the earrings; the Mother of Pearl is not thin like later designs. The swirl designs are 2 mm thick. The earrings are screwbacks but they can easily be converted to pierced.

Medium petite in size, the earrings are 1" or 25 mm wide. The Mother of Pearl is in pristine clean condition with no imperfections or flaws. The screw backs are silver rhodium metal with only light hints of wear. The earrings are not signed.
