Antique Art Deco Dress Clips Camphor Glass Shells 1930s Jewelry #13580

US$195.00
Item number: 13580

These antique Art Deco French style dress clips are a very unique eccentric pair!

These are French in style and although they are unsigned, they could have been made in Europe or by a top notch US jewelry designer such as Renaid. The quality of craftsmanship is superb!

The clips date from the 1925-1940 era and are made of heavy gold plated metal and light grey Camphor glass tear drops that form a fan pattern.

The thick metal curled clam shell design is painted in light and dark pinks and accented with gold plate bars. The tear drop glass cabs are thick lead glass and all are prong and bezel set. The backs have ornate gold clips with embossed designs.

Measuring 1 1/4" tall and 1 5/8" wide, both clips are in fabulous clean condition with no signs of wear. The glass cabs and the enamels are perfect and there is no loss of gold, not even on the clips.
