Carved Bone Daisy Pin 1940s Vintage Jewelry #15364
Made in the 1940-1950 era, this long and slender daisy pin is carved from bone. A resonance ping test will indicate what type of bone this is.
The bone is ivory white and the daisy has multi-layered petals with a cross-hatch carved center stained bright yellow. The long stem and leaves are semi-translucent leaf green stain. This pin has an ink stamped artist signature on the back but the signature is too faded to read. It is two words that are maybe 4-5 letters each.
Medium large in size, the daisy flower is 1 1/8" or 30 mm wide and the pin is 3 1/8" or 77 mm long overall.
The entire pin is in pristine condition with no chips, scratches, cracks, or repairs. There are no broken tips to the flowers or leaves. The copper and stainless steel safety clasp closure is drill set in place. The entire pin is microscopically clean with no signs of wear or other imperfections.
Comes gift wrapped and shipped in a new presentation jewelry box.
