Great Copper Pin Celtic Knot Brooch 1950s Vintage Jewelry #13916
WOW. Thas what I say when I see a big copper brooch in great condition thats over 60 yrs old.
This unique vintage copper pin is a Celtic knot design that was made in the late 1950s or early 1960s.
The pin is not signed but this design was most likely made in Austria, Germany, or Norway.
I have a great deal of experience in collecting copper jewelry over the past 40 yrs and whats important to note about this brooch:
It is artisan made by a highly skilled coppersmith;
It is a rare design to find; The copper came from European mines, not US copper mines that attests to the high-grade quality of the cooper.
The 1/2" wide circle is a wave of highly polished copper and the Celtic knot is thick copper wire. The interior of the wave band is lightly burnished. The pin measures 2 " wide or 5 cm.
You'll be thrilled with the condition of this pin because it is in superb like new condition- probably unlike any vintage copper pin you have ever see. The copper is sparkling clean and bright and there are no scratches, scuffs, or dings, not even on a microscopic level.
Comes gift wrapped and shipped in a new presentation jewelry box.
