Swank Vintage Cufflinks Gold Nautical Knots 1940s Jewelry #16956

Item number: 16956

These gold filled vintage cufflinks are a very old classic and timeless design.

The cufflinks are Nautical Knot designs and they are designer signed Swank. Howard Bell states that these cufflinks were made by Swank as early as 1935 but we both agree that this popular design was also made during the 1940s. The knots are quality gold filled polished metal.

I want to point out two things that indicate the age of these cufflinks. First notice on the end of the knots the red glass cabs that are pointed on the tips; a glass cab style that was only used on cufflinks in the 1930s and 1940s. Also notice the pointed ends on the cufflink inserts called bullet toggles; a style that was also only used during the same period.

Medium petite in size, the cufflinks are 1" or 26 mm long. The pair is in pristine clean condition with no imperfections or flaws.
Both cufflinks are signed Swank.

Comes gift wrapped and shipped in a new presentation cufflink box as pictured.
