Ethnic Vintage Earrings 1970s Big Marble Beads w Carnelian #13292
From the 1970s, these large funky Bohemian earrings are made of unusual earthy materials. The earrings were clips but I have converted them to pierced.
The carnelian like dome on the ear pot is made of Lucite and is framed in polished gold metal. The faux stone or marble like beads are very light weight as they are made of engineered stone, similar to materials used in modern kitchen counter tops.
The large stone like medallion at the bottom is off white with an ivory celluloid flower medallion. This donut medallion is attached with brown leather cord. The earrings have a couple of gold metal accent beads as well.
Although the earrings look large and massive, they are extremely light weight to wear. This design is extremely unusual, and the earrings were handmade and not mass produced. They measure 4" long. The medallions at the bottom are 1 3/8" wide and the faux Carnelian domes are 1" wide.
The earrings are in excellent clean condition with no signs of wear or other imperfections. The backs have some hardened left over glue residue; very minor.
Comes gift wrapped and shipped in a new presentation jewelry box.
