Over the past 40 years, I have collected nice pieces of North Carolina pottery my by different potters. I've always admired the blue glaze stoneware pieces for utilitarian purposes in my home and office. Stoneware pottery should be common place to find here in NC but nowadays, I don't find pieces like these often anymore.

This thick walled grey stoneware ovid vase is hand thrown pottery with stoneware white and blue glazes. The inside of the vase has blue glaze too. This is a perfect vase for pens and pencils, or other odds and ends like rubber bands or paper clips.

The vase is medium petite in size at 4 1/8" tall x 3 1/4" wide or 105 mm x 85 mm. The entire vase in is pristine clean like new condition with no imperfections or flaws. There are no chips, scratches, or cracks. The bottom of the vase is signed TS, 98.
