This impressive large hair accessory is a handmade bridal barrette. It is new and never worn but it was made in the 1990s.

The design is very unusual as the pearls are oval and elongated, or grape shapes. They are not as large as a grape but about the size of a peanut or 1/2" long each. The barrette is a dazzling clustered creation with bright lustrous white pearls and polished gold pearls. All of the pearls are plastic so the barrette is not heavy to wear.

It is large, at 3 3/4" long x 1 3/4" tall and puffs up front to back 1 1/4" deep. On the back, you can see the silver metal clip is new and all of the beads are strung tight with clear monofilament. All of the beads and pearls and blemish free, shiny and bright!
