Made in Gablonz in the 1920-1930 era, this exquisite Art Deco necklace features glass beads that are very rare to find. 

The hand faceted crystals are Uranium glass. Calling them crystals and not glass is technically correct due to the high lead content of the glass, but most people call it glass. The Vaseline glass is an unusual light Citrine color or has a lemon/lime hue. All of the crystals are hand faceted in small box facets lending superb sparkle and magnification. 

Contrasting the vibrant uranium glass are black glass mold faceted beads of exceptional quality. There are black glass disk shapes, half cones, and small rounds. The necklace is finished with the original antique filigree brass insert clasp. 

Medium in length, the necklace is 19 1/2" or 49.5 cm long. The largest Uranium crystal beads are 13 mm and 15 mm. 

The entire necklace is in pristine clean excellent condition with no imperfections or flaws. The necklace has been extremely well cared for and there are no chips, cracks, or scratches to any of the beads. The clasp is in perfect working order and the necklace is not signed. 

This necklace is Czech / German origin of the new Gablonz region.
