I have seen many old celluloid pins over the years but this unique flower bouquet is by far the most gorgeous I have ever seen! Not only is the flower bouquet design unique, intricate, and amazing, but the cocoa brown color is also very elegant and graceful.
The shape of this brooch is an unusual urn shape and the celluloid has dimensional layers of leaves and scrolls. The center is graced with a blooming rose. In the background throughout the whole designs are tiny flowers.
The brooch dates from the 1930s and it is not signed but it was probably made in Japan. The back has a 1930s C clasp closure. The brooch is a nice large design that measures 2 1/4" tall x 2" wide. The entire piece is in pristine condition with no signs of wear. The celluloid retains the high gloss shine with no color fading. The back has a white area in the center, showing that this is an older type of mold blown celluloid.
This is a precious old celluloid brooch that is an exceptional heirloom piece!
Comes gift wrapped and shipped in a new presentation jewelry box.
