Made in the 1955-1965 era, these very elegant classy earrings are a timeless formal design. Gold metal mesh jewelry was very popular in the 1950s however there were only a few US jewelry designers that made them. It was not an easy type of jewelry to make as the mesh had to be perfectly crafted. 

These gold metal mesh hoops are not signed but they were most likely made by Hattie Carnegie. Hattie was very famous for a wide selection of gold mesh/gold chain style jewelry. These unique dangles feature an assortment of gold chains, AB prong set rhinestone chains, and finished with both pearl and crystal beads. 

The earrings are clips and are modest is size at 2" long x 1 1/16" wide or 51 mm x 27 mm. Both earrings are in pristine clean like new condition with no imperfections or flaws and have obviously never been worn. All of the rhinestones are original, present, and super sparkling. The gold is clean and bright with no wear or loss of gold. The gold mesh is perfect with no pulls or frays.
