This is a spectacular VERY RARE to find 1950s vintage Givre glass brooch! 

Large in size, this clear and white faceted marquise horizontal design might be thought of as a Delizza & Elster or a Schreiner design, but it is not. The brooch is not signed but I know this design was made by Kramer in the 1950s. The matching earrings to this brooch recently sold on another website for $168. 

This unique brooch does not have a design name but I call it "Winter Wonderland" because it resembles snowflakes or icicles. The glistening clear and white Givre glass marquise stones are stacked inward on slants and the brooch is slightly concave from side to side. The brooch is also embellished with milk glass rounds. The brooch is made silver rhodium metal and all of the stones are prong set. 

Large in size, the brooch is 2 1/2" wide x 1 3/4" tall or 64 mm x 45 mm. The marquise Givre glass stones are large at 5/8" or 16 mm long. You can get a better indication of the size by viewing the photo of the brooch in my hand. 

The entire brooch is in pristine clean like new condition with no imperfections or flaws. All of the stones are flawless with no chips, cracks, scratches, or facet wear. There is no silver rhodium wear or loss of rhodium.  Some very light microscopic hints of gentle metal wear on the back only. The back has the original fine working safety clasp.
