In 1959, someone decided to memorialize the introduction of the Lincoln memorial on the penny when the Lincoln Memorial was first introduced on the penny.

There are endless designs of copper penny cufflinks made in the past and even still to this day, but I've never seen any like this pair. They are not designer signed but as they are signed 900 silver, I suspect based on the collection I acquired them from, these cufflinks might have been made in England and exported to the US.

The perimeters feature rosette 900 silver frames that support a laser cut out of the 1959 penny.  The penny has been highlighted with sharp engraved bevel highlights to accent the design of the Lincoln Memorial. The combination of the brilliant reddish orange copper and the silver frames create an overall appealing glistening effect.

Both cufflinks are signed 900. They are 3/4" wide. Note the style of the toggle that dates the cufflinks to the late 1950s or early 1960s. The pair is in pristine clean like new condition with no imperfections or flaws. The backs have some specks of light silver patina from age.

Comes gift wrapped and shipped in a new luxury presentation cufflink box as pictured.
