This very impressive stacked medallion brooch is designer signed ART. It is one of ART's most prestigious and hard to find designs that was made in the 1955-1965 era.

The brooch is made of pierced gold metal that creates a bright gold glistening look. The Topaz at the center is mold faceted glass set is a fancy crown style  prongs. Around the Topaz are emerald rhinestones encircled with tiny  Peridot rhinestones. The wide filigree perimeter is laced with countless tiny Peridot and Topaz AB rhinestones. 

The brooch is impressive in size at 2 1/8" or 5.4 cm wide. The Topaz glass cab is 3/4" or 2 cm wide. You can get a better indication of the size by looking at the photo of the brooch in my hand. 

The entire brooch is in pristine clean condition with no gold wear and all of the rhinestones are original, present, and sparkling. The back of the brooch is finished in rich gold and the original fine  working safety clasp, bar, and hinge are in place. The back of the  brooch is signed ©ART. One special note: The Topaz glass is molded and there are a couple of tiny mold creases on the top that look like scratches but they are not. They are mold lines. This is very hard to see with the naked eye.
