This BSK designer signed brooch is an unusual feather design that dates from the 1950-1960 era.

The B. Kaslo-Steinberg Co. of NY was in business from 1948 until the early 1980s and they made some fabulous unique designs that are seriously overlooked by collectors. Much of their mass production jewelry was rather generic. Brooches you should look for are their more stunning designs, like this brooch.

This vision in blue and gold has special appeal because the rhinestones are set spaced apart, allowing light to sparkle around the stones. The 4 mm chatons are Sapphire and light blue and the light blue stones have sparkling AB finishes. The brooch is made of satin rose gold metal and the gold feather design is fanned out and over lapping.

This brooch has a light airy appearance and while it is a medium-large size, it is not heavy to wear. It measures 2 1/4" long x 1 1/2" tall or 5.3 cm x 4 cm. You can get a better indication of size by looking at the photo of the brooch in my hand.

The entire brooch both front and back is sparkling clean. There is no residue on the rhinestones and all are present, original, and sparkling clear. There is no gold wear anywhere and no other flaws or imperfections. The brooch is exceptionally clean and pristine. The back has the original fine working safety clasp and the ©BSK cartouche.

Comes gift wrapped and shipped in a new presentation jewelry box.
