I once heard a vintage jewelry dealer say that she found circle pins boring. I was shocked because circle pins are one, if not the oldest of all jewelry designs. They are not boring. A design like this is classy and elegant. It is a timeless design that never goes out of style. Circle pins are symbolic and represent the circle of life, or no beginning and no end; the same symbolism as rings you wear on your fingers. It is also hard to find two circle pins that are ever the same as jewelry artist over hundreds of years have used great imagination to create a vast array of variations. Ive always collected circle pins and have many in my collection. This is one of the loveliest designer circle pins you will ever see. It is designer signed by Catamore and was made in the 1950s.
