Made in the 1950s, the vintage mens tie clasp was a very popular design men loved to wear.and drive their wives crazy when they showed up at a wedding or a formal occasion wearing it.

The tie clasp is made of silver rhodium metal and the pistol is an old Colt Model 1. Rick Harrison of Pawn Stars, in an episode aired 11-19-12, had a customer come in with an ivory handled Colt Model 1. Rick told him that this was the same type of gun that was used to kill Wild Bill Hickok in Deadwood. While Wild Bill was playing poker with his back to the door, a man walked in and put the gun to his head and shot him dead. He fell on the floor and in his hand was a pair of aces and a pair of eights, which is where the term "Dead Mans Hand" came from when you hold aces and eights. I think Rick knows just about every gun story ever told!

Medium long in size, the tie clasp is 2 5/8" long x 1/2" tall or 65 mm x 13 mm. The tie clasp is in pristine clean condition with no imperfections like scratches, dings, or metal wear. Only some very microscopic light signs of gentle handling can be detected; hardly worth noting. The alligator clip is in perfect working order and the tie clasp is not signed.

Comes gift wrapped and shipped in a luxury presentation jewelry box.
