Over the past 40 years, I have collected more than my share of Czech and Murano art glass. 

Czech Jack in the Pulpit vases have always been one of my favorites and I know the difference between real Czech and newer reproductions made in China being sold online as Czech. Those JIP vases that are white, green, and orange ? Those are Chinese! Old vintage Czech glass JIP vases were always just two colors : white and one other like orange, green, blue, or yellow. Those were the predominately the only colors : never 3 or more colors., except for some very rare End-of-the-Day vases. 

Made in the 1950's, what I love about this Czech JIP case is that it IS NOT a bright gaudy color. It is a dreamy ocean blues, and not an easy Czech JIP vase to find. The vase is thick glass and is clear cased with swirled ribs. There are small air bubbles here and there that add to the appeal. The bottom of the vase is like a vintage Czech vase should be : straight rough cut and unpolished. 

This vase has been protected in my curio cabinet for about 40 years. Medium in size, the vase is about 7 1/2" tall x 3 3/4" wide at the top. The entire vase is in pristine clean like new condition with no imperfections or flaws. There are no scratches, scuffs, chips, or cracks. The rim is smooth with no flaws.
